Ball and Corpack among companies launching products at aerosol and cosmetics show in Paris
29 Jan 2019 --- Over thirty companies will launch products at the Aerosol & Dispensing Forum, which features alongside the Packaging of Perfume Cosmetics & Design (ADF&PCD) in Paris. Opening its doors tomorrow for two days (January 30-31), the show labels itself as the world’s biggest event for the aerosol, dispensing, perfume and cosmetics packaging community.
“New product development and product innovation are the engines of the perfume, cosmetics packaging and dispensing industry. ADF&PCD is a launchpad supporting the market’s natural progress and vitality,” says Christelle Anya, ADF&PCD Paris Event Director.
“Our commitment to innovation can be seen throughout the event: from the large number of product launches to the Innovation & Technology Theatre, from the Accelerator Zone promoting entrepreneurship to the Eco-Tours showcasing environmentally-friendly solutions. ADF&PCD bring the world’s best innovations to market like no other event,” she adds.
Alongside product launches and exhibitor stands, the show offers a selection of companies who will speak in more detail about their launch in the Innovation & Technology Theatre. Another area, the Accelerator Zone, will introduce start-ups and newcomers to the market.
Who’s launching what in Paris this week?
A range of companies are launching new products to the market and choosing to unveil them on the floor of ADF&PCD.
Cosmetics packaging supplier Corpack will be exhibiting new compacts and lipsticks that have been developed with the cork-based Sughera material, which consists of 70 percent natural cork and a 30 percent rubber-blend. The composition of the material means that it uses less petroleum-based materials, which gives a strong sustainability boost to the collection. The new cooperation with the manufacturer Livingcap enables Corpack to be the first company to introduce Sughera in a wide range of cosmetic packaging, notes the company. The company will be located at booth M52.
IGEPAK, a Spanish contract filler located near the French border, has invested in the acquisition and fitting-out of a 2000m2 plant dedicated to cosmetics activity and has now a larger and more modern filling room for the production of innovative cosmetic formulas. This includes the Sulfates Free Shower Foam for Hair & Body, the 360° Moisturizing Body Lotion and the Moisturising Body Mousse, which will be unveiled at the show. The company will be located at booth T10.
Siegwerk is launching a UV ink, with strong suitability for de-inking on graphic paper or cardboard. The innovative product provides interesting features in terms of sustainability and paper recycling, the company notes. Additionally, Siegwerk will introduce to the market a conductive ink, which can be printed on packaging and scanned with a mobile phone, allowing a direct connection to a website with product information. The company will be located at booth SP7.
Aluminum can innovator Ball is to unveil its latest can technology – 360° degree custom shaping – at the ADF&PCD exhibition. Ball says that its new technology brings another dimension to can contouring, using a process that allows custom shaping, symmetrically or asymmetrically, up to the full circumference of the can, ultimately benefiting both brand owners and end consumers.
Ball has paired its graphics expertise with innovative shaping to produce a can that is visually engaging from every angle. 360° degree custom shaping offers brands a new advantage, delivering an aerosol package that communicates their story, stands out on the shelf and entices consumers to examine the product more closely. The company will be located at booth V12.
Ramson Packaging, a Scandinavian packaging supplier, is launching a line of airless dispensers made from bio-material from sugar cane – it is one of the few producers of this type of product line and it will be first introduced at ADF&PCD. The company will be located at booth J21.
Satimat France will launch printing services that allow for printing a CMYK picture in one pass printed directly on glass, in any shape or size bottle. The company will be located at booth B21.
As the largest manufacturer of standard bottles and closures in the EU, SHB GmbH will launch a line of bottles that, it claims, are some of the most eco-friendly solutions available. The range includes bottles from up to 100 percent recycled HDPE, from up to 97 percent recycled HDPE from “yellow bag” waste, from up to 100 percent recycled PET and from up to 96 percent bio-based HDPE. The company will be located at booth C26.
ADF&PCD Conference & Exhibition will be held at the Porte de Versailles, Hall 7.2.
