Lenny Boy Brewing Announces New Kombucha Packaging
Lenny Boy has come a long way from Townes Mozer selling kombucha out of the back of his car. Nine months ago Lenny Boy Brewing ordered a new bottling line - our second largest capital expenditure to date (behind our brewhouse).
The purchase of this new bottling line was made in step with a decision to change our kombucha packaging. Our distributors have begun to pickup the new bottles and Lenny Boy Brewing will slowly begin to see them on shelves across Charlotte as the old bottles pull through. Why the change? Lenny Boy Brewing wanted to make our kombucha bottles more user friendly. Lenny Boy Brewing received a lot of feedback from our kombucha fans and decided it was time to make the change.
This decision was not made overnight - Lenny Boy Brewing have been working on this change for the past year and are proud to announce to Charlotte and our customers that they will see new Lenny Boy kombucha bottles on the shelves in the near future! As our kombucha will no longer be sold in an amber beer bottle there will be no more looking over your shoulder to enjoy our kombucha in the car, no more weird looks at the office while sipping on our kombucha, and you will have the ability to enjoy half of our kombucha and save the other half for later via resealable caps.
Thank you for your countless hours spent covering small businesses in Charlotte. Much of Lenny Boy’s growth is truly a function of your support and coverage. Lenny Boy has grown from a small‐scale operation run out of an automobile, to moving into a 2,000 sq ft Taproom, then taking another step forward and moving into our 32,000 sq ft facility on South Tryon, and most recently investing $300,000 to purchase a new bottling line and new fermenters to implement a large‐scale package change! Lenny Boy Brewing truly looks forward to hearing how our fans react to the new Lenny Boy kombucha bottles!
