Barena Beer Launches a Tin Can Presentation

15/12/08 As part of the innovations on Backus brand portfolio for this summer, Barena Beer announces the launch into the market of a new presentation: Barena 355 ml can.
"Summer season is the ideal scenery for a new Barena launch, due to the intrinsic benefit of being a very refreshing beer. What we expect of this new tin can is to perfectly transmit the Barena style: A very refreshing beer, less bitter and that makes you "cool" for the occasions of party, fun and good times," pointed out Bernardo León, Barena brand Manager.
The executive emphasized that the 355 ml can launch will allow Barena to penetrate into new consume occasions of the goal population (young adults from 18 to 25 years old) which is the goal, and it is going to be available at cellars, supermarkets, liquor stores and convenience stores.
For the launch initial stage, it has been considered to have a strong presence only in Lima and the beaches. The can is going to be sold individually and in the retractable pack with 12 units. The suggested price per can is S/.2.20 and S/. 26.40 per 12 pack.
