Nov 3 2011 --- As part of the new development by the Baumann Global Packaging Group Lausanne Switzerland, the modular system, consisting of a sachet packaging machine and cartoning unit, offers an integrated solution for the primary and secondary packaging, transport and grouping of powders, granulates pellets and other goods. The flat pouch is an increasingly popular packaging format for today’s consumers.
The compact layout of the system requires minimal space, with consequently leads to a smaller footprint for reduced operating costs. With an output up to 250 sachets per minute, it efficiently and reliably delivers high – quality pouches.
An integrated weigh control and metal detect system ensures 100 % inline weigh control. Faulty products are automatically ejected via a dump gate to guarantee high product quality, while good products are passed through an equalizer unit and stacked according to the requested count. The stacked products are transferred to the site loading cartoning unit, which is capable of handling single or double stacks of sachets continuously at an output of 120 cartons per minute.
