Combi Packaging Systems Expands Line of Hand Packing Stations
Easy to maintain and operate, the Ergomatic is a value-priced, semi-automatic hand packing station laden with features that increases the user's profits through increased productivity.
Aug 17 2010 --- With a focus on analyzing customers' packaging equipment needs, Combi's engineering team designs and builds end of line packaging systems to fulfill a multitude of applications. Combi's commitment to developing affordable packaging equipment is exemplified in the newly designed Ergomatic hand packing station.
Easy to maintain and operate, the Ergomatic is a value-priced, semi-automatic hand packing station laden with features that increases the user's profits through increased productivity. For customers who don't require special custom features, the Ergomatic is ideal for companies who require more throughput than manual case erecting and case packing can provide. The new Ergomatic, debuting in October at the 2010 Pack Expo International show in Chicago, can be equipped with a semi-automatic top and bottom sealing 3M-Matic or Combi case sealer.
"Over 30 years, customers have recognized our ability to develop and deliver affordable packaging equipment," said Combi President and CEO John F. Fisher. "Our capabilities combined with 3M technology deliver the perfect combination for our customers." An additional value is 3M's systems-length tape agreement, offered to customers who buy Combi packaging equipment and 3M-Matic case sealers. Those who agree to buy a specified quantity of tape qualify for benefits that can include a rebate, free tape head, or spare parts kit.
"We come to work every day with the uppermost thought in mind: Customers should never pay for more than they need," Fisher said. "We know customers continue to require more affordable packaging equipment with ever-expanding performance. We deliver because we focus on engineering and building affordable performance into every piece of our packaging equipment."
