Crunchy Foods unveils colorful new package design
Crunchy Foods is proud to announce new packaging for its 8oz. gift boxes and 3 packs of Biscotti di Suzy™ brand cookies. The new 8oz packages feature cleaner lines, clearer labeling, metallic elements, and now each flavor has its own color.
Crunchy Foods is proud to announce new packaging for its 8oz. gift boxes and 3 packs of Biscotti di Suzy™ brand cookies. The new 8oz packages feature cleaner lines, clearer labeling, metallic elements, and now each flavor has its own color. Designed to make it easier for customers to find the flavor they want, and easier for retailers to tell at a glance which flavors are selling best, the new 8oz packages were made available in late September, 2004.
Owner Karen Robert Jackson says, “We love hearing directly from consumers who tell us how special our cookies are, and we wanted our packaging to showcase the brand. The new packaging was also a response to our retail customers’ needs. We wanted to give them something that would really ‘pop’ from the shelf and look great in gift baskets.”
Customers have immediately responded to the new design. “It really stands out,” says Kathy Belluomini, buyer for Draeger’s Market in San Mateo, Los Altos and Menlo Park, CA. “At Draeger’s we offer consumers the best, both in terms of how a product looks and how it tastes. This new packaging makes such a difference.”
Founded in 1985, Biscotti di Suzy™ has established itself as a favorite of Northern California coffee shops, restaurants, caterers and upscale markets. In February 2004 Biscotti di Suzy™ was purchased by Crunchy Foods. Since then, Ms. Jackson has focused on three goals for the company: 1) to satisfy existing customers, 2) to update the look and strengthen the brand, stressing taste, texture and all natural ingredients and 3) to build distributor relationships and expand overall product availability.
