Coley Porter Bell has linked up with DJ Ferry Corsten to design a limited edition bottle for Pernod Ricard’s Olmeca tequila.
The brief was to design a “contemporary” bottle to communicate Corsten’s “cutting edge electronic dance music”.
Coley Porter Bell’s solution was to create a matt-black bottle with a holographic label that “glimmers hypnotically under club lights”.
The launch coincides with an Olmeca promotion inviting consumers to “Be the DJ” as part of a search for new DJs and producers. Participants can win a place at a DJ school led by Corsten.
“Ferry Corsten may not be a graphic designer but he was very clear about what he wanted and in his directions. It was a great collaboration,” said Coley Porter Bell senior designer Stuart Humm.
