First new Generation Filling Machine ready for Mini Cartons

Elopak is well under way to introduce the new Mini cartons, Mini Diamond Pure-Pak and Mini Diamond Pure-Pak Curve in all major markets. The new Mini carton design has already received several international awards. Getting the cartons out to existing and new customers involves both re-building existing machines and the introduction of new filling machines.

Elopak is well under way to introduce the new Mini cartons, Mini Diamond Pure-Pak and Mini Diamond Pure-Pak Curve in all major markets. The new Mini carton design has already received several international awards. Getting the cartons out to existing and new customers involves both re-building existing machines and the introduction of new filling machines. The first new machine to be launched is the Pure-Pak U-ME70L2SC filler offering higher capacity, increased hygienic performance and a built in cap applicator. The new machine has a capacity of up to 7250 cartons per hour and can fill up to four different carton sizes including 225ml, 330ml and 500ml as standard. The machine has a cap applicator built in so there is no reduction in speed when caps are fitted. Touch screen technology makes this a state-of-the-art machine. Its optional automatic clean air system and carton sterilization has enabled Elopak to launch one of the most hygienic machines in the world. The first Pure-Pak U-ME70L2SC underwent thorough testing in Elopak's Technology Centre (ETC) before it was placed in one of TINE's factories in Norway. The machine was installed over a week-end and was in full operation on the following Monday. It is now successfully producing 500ml Mini Diamond Pure-Pak cartons with Elo-Cap UE screw caps. The machine is prepared for running Mini Diamond Pure-Pak Curve cartons.
