Parkay Fun Squeezee is now available in Electric Blue and Shocking Pink colors, by way of a bright pink or blue bottle from Owens-Brockway that holds 10 oz. Fun Squeeze marks the launch of one of the biggest new product introductions for the Parkay brand, by heading into the popular kid-friendly condiment category, as has Heinz with its kid-friendly, squeezable EZ Squirt bottle, for orange, green and purple ketchup colors. Fun Squeeze was developed to bring product innovation to the squeezable margarine and spread category, and to create enough excitement, ConAgra Dairy Foods hopes, to bring kids to the spread section. The company sought input from parents and kids on the products’ color, taste and nutritional value. According to its research, kids deemed blue and pink the “coolest colors” for the product. Reflecting the colorful products, the packaging sports distinctive in-mold labels on pink- or blue-pigmented bottles molded with scalloped, easy-grip sides. Capping the bottles is a Seaquist Closures hinged flip-cap dispensing closure in blue with a conical spout.
