Once previously available only in glass bottles, hiOsilver Oxygen Water is a magnesium and oxygen-rich water that contains no calories and no sodium. It will now be offered in 16 oz. Cans and be produced at Rexam’s Winston-Salem plant in America, and filled at the Seven-UP Bottling Co. in Modesto, CA. “We are focused on delivering maximum oxygen concentration, so packaging choice is a big concern,” said Howard Hoffman, president, hiOsilver Oxygen Water. “Plastic does not have an adequate oxygen barrier and consumers have indicated that glass lacks the convenience and flexibility they desire. So offering hiOsilver Oxygen Water in aluminum cans makes perfect brand building and bottom-line sense. Our partnership with Rexam is enabling our move to aluminum cans, complete with package advantages that include the best in filling speeds, logistics, recycling, shelf life and retail space utilization.” hiOsilver Oxygen Water starts with natural spring water, from Adobe Springs in Northern California, which contains one of the highest naturally-occurring magnesium counts in the world. Magnesium has been shown to improve cardiovascular health and strengthen the immune system. Rexam has the only company-owned, integrated graphic art and printing plate operation, complete with a manufacturing pilot line, to set these standards, confidentially with customers, before mass production. hiOsilver Oxygen Water is currently available in grocery, natural foods, and convenience stores in the western states, Texas, Illinois and coming soon to the rest of the country.
