hiOsilver Oxygen Water Moves Into Aluminum

Rexam and hiOsilver Oxygen Water have teamed up to offer health-conscious consumers enhanced water in the most popular beverage package in the world: aluminum cans. Once previously available only in glass bottles, hiOsilver Oxygen Water is a magnesium and oxygen-rich water that contains no calories and no sodium. It will now be offered in 16 oz. Cans and be produced at Rexam’s Winston-Salem plant in America, and filled at the Seven-UP Bottling Co. in Modesto, CA. “We are focused on delivering maximum oxygen concentration, so packaging choice is a big concern,” said Howard Hoffman, president, hiOsilver Oxygen Water. “Plastic does not have an adequate oxygen barrier and consumers have indicated that glass lacks the convenience and flexibility they desire. Magnesium has been shown to improve cardiovascular health and strengthen the immune system.
