09/07/08 Færch Plast, Denmark has launched brand new packaging for exciting and nourishing ready meals for children around the world, more and more children are eating ready meals. You normally associate ready-prepared dishes with fast food lacking much nutritional value, but the UK is leading the way with the production and sale of organic and nutritious ready-prepared meals.
“To make ready meals attractive for children and their parents, we have produced a new packaging range ‘Ready meals for children’. This is packaging that is easy to handle, and that appeals to children’s imagination and curiosity,” says Jens Bornstein, Managing Director of Færch Plast A/S in Holstebro .
The new packaging design is fun, cute, uses original shapes, and there is a wealth of choice. What is central to the concept is that the food is eaten in new contexts, such as a quick and tasty snack either at a friend’s house or at school or a sports club etc.
“Developments are moving towards the convenient preparation of meals which are also expected to form part of a healthy and nutritious diet. Our new packaging is in line with this development and will hopefully encourage more children and young people to eat healthy, nutritious foods,” says Jens Bornstein.
