The infant formula powder from this new facility "spray-dry", retain the same qualitative and quantitative composition of the above formulas, but they change their appearance, smell and taste.
The dust is in fact whiter, finer and homogeneous, with a smoother surface of the granules to facilitate its dissolution and a milky smell and flavor to be even more appreciated by small users.
In preparing the bottle, it is important to follow carefully the instructions on the package, respecting the quantity, timing and manner prescribed.
Here are some recommendations based on Humana’s experience and advice from other moms consumers:
- add hot water to the powder at 70 ° C and shake gently and briefly the bottle, immediately after the addition of water
- it is possible that during the agitation of the bottle is formed of foam, very common for dairy foods. To reduce it to an acceptable level, it is sufficient to rapidly cool the bottle under running water, a water bath in cold water or by letting the bottles at room temperature
- it is important to shake the bottle with a slow circular motion until complete dissolution of the powder completely avoiding the energetic shaking to develop more foam
- during the dissolution of the powder, the bottle must be sealed with his ring and cap, while the nipple is inserted just prior to administration to prevent the entry of air and more new foam.
