Building on the success of Kinder Bueno’s first ever price-marked pack activity in September last year, the brand is again introducing a price flash on single packs of Bueno Classic and Bueno White.
Priced at 49p, these price-marked packs are being re-introduced to boost sales and drive trial of the Top 10 Countline brand. The bars will feature a striking yellow and red on-pack price flash, which will increase shelf stand-out on the competitive impulse fixture, and attract shoppers’ attention.
“Our Kinder Bueno price-marked packs proved popular with consumers last year, as many feel they offer better value, and we saw a 13% increase in volume sales,” comments Jason Sutherland, Ferrero UK Sales Director. “As well as offering value, the new price-marked packs have strong visibility on shelf, and therefore present an excellent opportunity for independent retailers to drive their sales of Kinder Bueno.”
Retailers will be able to purchase the price-marked products through wholesale outlets from early June. To support this PMP activity, Kinder Bueno is offering retailers a case promotion of 30 bars for the price of 25.
“The special five bars free case promotion is key as we are ensuring improved margins for both the wholesaler and the retailer. The end result is the consumer will see Kinder Bueno on shelf at a competitive price and therefore try it. For retailers to maximise visibility in store, we recommend they keep fully stocked and position Bueno Classic alongside Bueno White,” concludes Sutherland.
