Navidul Redesigns Packaging
The agency Addison has performed this project and has created a homogeneous umbrella design for all its ham and sausage products.
27/11/2007 Navidul, a brand belonging to the Spanish Campofrío Group, has renewed its graphic design and packaging in order to become more attractive to the consumer. The agency Addison has performed this project and has created a homogeneous umbrella design for all its ham and sausage products. This new packaging stresses the benefits of the product, its origin and authenticity.
The material used is a textured paper tray which feels like the traditional packaging. A white texture is added at the front of the package, as well as a window to see the product and a macro picture which captures the quality of the product.
Navidul’s brand name is placed on the side. In the sausage packaging there is also a picture of an acorn in order to stress the tradition of the product.
The markets for sliced, striped and diced sausage are rising. In 2006 the former increased by 18% and the second and third by 20%, according to Alimarket magazine. Navidul is the main player in the sliced Iberian sausage market, with a 35% market share.
