NEW CASTLE, DE - June 1, 2004 - Converters seeking better economics for their sheet-fed cut & stack labels are finding AET Films' CSL 231-125 OPP cut & stack label film an ideal solution for container decoration. As the largest North American manufacturer of oriented polypropylene films (OPP), AET recently introduced this exciting new cut & stack label film. The film is quickly becoming a desirable alternative to PP/paper laminate and wet-strength paper for cut & stack label applications. CSL 231-125 is a white opaque film designed to give trouble-free performance on sheet-fed presses for cut & stack labeling applications. CSL 231-125 is also designed to run on roll-to-roll presses with in-line or out-of-line sheeting. The 3.3 mil film has been engineered to provide a print surface with excellent gloss and whiteness that delivers the superior graphics and appearance customers demand. The non-print surface delivers trouble-free feeding of sheets and high press speeds, along with excellent cut & stack labeling performance. These labels deliver outstanding strength and moisture resistance to insure that the label will continue to look good no matter what the environmental conditions may be. CSL 231-125 permits a variety of alternatives with regard to printing methods. Printing can be performed with all standard methods including litho/offset, gravure, UV flexo, letterpress, or screen.
