Glenmorangie Company, a Scotland-based distiller, has got the packaging for its new whiskey, inspired by the Belle Epoque style of the turn of the last century, designed by Lewis Moberly, a UK based design agency.
The new whiskey variant, Glenmorangie Finealta, is created from the distriller's original recipe. The bottle sports Art Nouveau-style decorative elements and typography, and peacock blue colored top of the bottle capsule and carton.
The carton was printed by Vangenechten. The bottle was manufactured by Allied Glass and the labels printed by NSD International.
Lewis Moberly creative director Mary Lewis was quoted by Packagingnews as saying that by embracing the design cues of the Art Nouveau movement, the distillery celebrates this fascinating discovery of a very special whiskey.
“Every detail of the packaging has been carefully considered to ensure the elegance of the era is truly reflected,” Lewis said.
