Savoury snack brand Nutshot has linked up with agency NXL Design to revamp its packaging
The Yorkshire-based agency developed a ‘Push Pop’ application designed to differentiate the brand on-shelf. The aim of the new design was to reinforce Nutshot’s position as a “funky, innovative brand aimed at the more discerning savoury snack consumer”.
NXL’s Design Manager Phil Parkinson said: “We worked on a variety of concepts across a range of packaging applications to test their aesthetic merits, from Quad Packs and Doy Packs to the Push Pops our client has ultimately launched with.”
According to NXL, the designs use distinctive typography and flow right around the packs from front to back. The artwork has been tailored to minimise print costs, without diluting the visual appeal of the packaging.
