Partners in Packaging (Machine Systems) Ltd Stand E53 will be showing systems designed to show the flexibility and wide capability of their Feeding Systems designed to suit all industries.
On show will be the all new Delta Muffin Case denester which is designed to offer unrivalled access for cleandown and maintenance, together with quick release changeparts which will allow rapid and repeatable operator size changes to minimise machine downtime when changing products. The machine which utilises linear servo drives for optimum control and minimal maintenance is constructed from Stainless steel and is mounted on a heavy duty cantilevered frame to allow it to be easily removed from the line when required.
“We have designed our system to be as simple as possible, but with flexibility in mind to enable it to run a variety of muffin cases including some which our competitors have been unable to run on their machines.” Said PiP’s Duncan Macintyre. “We have just secured an order for two of these systems for delivery to a major supplier of muffins to the main chain of coffee shops in the UK”
Also on show will be a turnkey line from Thiele Technologies/Streamfeeder, comprising a modular indexing lugged infeed complete with a Reciprocating Pick and Place Denester, Stainless Steel Pro series ST1250 Friction Feeder/Collator feeding collations of cards at high speed and the Value Series V710BC Universal Friction Feeder for feeding leaflets, booklets and Cards. “This modular infeed and collator/feeders are suitable for feeding many products and the infeed can be used to autofeed just about any shrinkwrapper with an automatic belt infeed” say PiP. The base is equipped with “plug and play stations” to offer easy addition and removal of different machines depending on the job being run at any given time.
The Northfield Bandolier inserter will be shown feeding coupons at high speed in a continuously perforated bandolier format. “We have recently seen a massive increase in customers wishing to insert promotional material into bags or cartons, and the benefit of our range of inserters is that they can be fed from very large containers of product meaning they can effectively be left alone for long periods of time” said Duncan Macintyre. “The machines are capable of feeding both 2D and 3D items at very high speeds into both VFFS machines together with Cartoners and Flowrapper.”
