Available from February on packs of Mentos Mint roll, Mentos Fruit roll and Fruittella strawberry stick packs. These special packs will offer a great value price to the consumer versus the rrp.
Exclusively offered in the convenience channel, the new PMP packs across Mentos and Fruittella will support growing distribution in the sector.
Research shows that two thirds of consumers are now more likely to buy a confectionery product with a PMP. A price clearly displayed on pack ensures perceived better value for money and helps reassure consumers that they are not being overcharged.
The new PMP will benefit retailers looking to increase sales as well as offer the best value price locally for their customers.
Standard packs of Mentos and Fruittella will still be available as usual.
Mentos remains one of the fastest growing mint brands in the UK impulse market growing 33% in value whilst Mentos fruit also shows a strong growth of 8% in a competitive market. The Fruittella brand continues to be a household favourite growing at 22% in value.
2012 will see continued investment from Perfetti Van Melle in its leading brands which will see National TV for Mentos along with sponsorship of American Idol and National TV support for Fruittella.
