The company has commissioned a brand-new pouch packing plant to deliver Juice Burst in a new pack format for the convenience sector.
The new three Juice Burst Pouches has been designed to appeal for on-the-go consumption, whether that is kid’s lunch boxes, a convenient “picnic pack”, or a juice drink for long journeys.
The range comprises three great flavours, Apple, Orange, and Apple & Blackcurrant.
The range comes in a specially designed case which converts into a counter-top display, containing 18 x 250ml Pouches. The screw-top closure is designed to be more convenient and user friendly.
The juice blends are fully compliant with schools regulations and guidelines, and have so far performed well where they are currently available.
From the launch demand has been strong, prompting the brand to roll distribution out steadily, in order to keep pace with rising demand.
The brand believes the appeal of this pack is the versatility of the pack combined with the serving size.
The pack graphics were commissioned to be universally attractive to youngsters and adults alike and achieve the new drink range good stand out on shelf.
Richard Perkins, Sales Director at Purity said: “We have established that consumption of pouches is “occasion- driven”, where the Pouch has been introduced along-side the PET; the PET sales continue to grow, and Pouch sales are entirely incremental.
“This drives overall category sales growth”.
