In brief: Product launches and certifications
Spectra has designed a range of sugar-cane based PET biopolymer packs for Firmdale Hotels RIKRAK range of bath products. “Our sugarcane-based biopolymers, available in both PET and HDPE, are the perfect choice for customers who are concerned about compromising the end result when switching to environmental packaging. This truly renewable material alleviates those fears because it maintains the same chemical properties as conventional oil-based PET and HDPE. It means there is no difference in performance or appearance to the end result,” says Dan Smith, Field Sales Representative at Spectra.
Pregis LLC is adding new pink and black color options to its Inspyre protective packaging brand, which packages e-commerce products. The new colors join the initial “water blue” color offering to help enhance the customer experience when opening delivered packages and also provide visual support for cause marketing and charitable campaigns. Additionally, an even wider array of custom colors can be manufactured.
RPC PET Power has extended the reach of its Tall Boston Round range with the introduction of a 500ml version. The modification enables the bottle to take a wide variety of standard pumps and atomizers, extending its suitability for additional products and applications in, for example, the home care market. The new size also enhances the Tall Boston Round’s flexibility in the establishment of complete family ranges of products.
