Soylutions, Canada's leading manufacturer of health beverages, is launching new packaging for its line of YU soy and rice beverages. The change is aimed at enhancing the Yu brand image to better reflect product excellence. The contemporary Zen design will help set YU apart from the competition. The logo has also been revamped to create a strong and distinctive brand image that consumers can easily spot. "We wanted consumers to be able to relate to the brand by making it appealing and friendly at the same time. That's why we've added a smile to the logo," said Soylutions president Luc LabbDe. While already popular with consumers, YU-a twist on the word you, meaning YU is made for you-is now even more visible, and truly stands out from the other beverages on grocery store shelves. "Increasingly, consumers are reaching for grain-based drinks because of their nutritional benefits, and we wanted to update our packaging to appeal to our growing clientele," added LabbDe. "We also wanted to stress the fact that all our beverages are made entirely in Canada and that our YU basmati rice beverage is the only one of its kind made in Canada."
