Tequila Avión Launches New Bottle Sizes

5/4/2011 --- Tequila Avión is once again making bold moves as it continues to redefine and set the standard in the ultra premium tequila category. This week, the Company will launch a series of new bottle sizes to satisfy ongoing market demand and facilitate trial of its highly acclaimed and award-winning products, each of which recently received medals at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Tequila Avión will introduce three new sizes, including a 50ml, a 375ml and 1.75L in addition to the current 750ml.

Each of the new bottles stays true to the Avión tradition of craft, design and premium quality; the 50ml and 375ml bottles are replicas of Avión’s signature Silver, Reposado and Añejo expressions. The 50ml “minis” will be sold individually and, for a limited time, in a gift set containing all three expressions, called the Avión “Tasting Flight.” In June, the Company will launch a 1.75L replica bottle of its Silver expression, which recently was honored with a Double Gold medal at the 2011 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The new bottles, with the exception of the minis, will each continue to be imprinted with a hand written batch and bottle number, along with the authentication of Tequila Avión’s Master Distiller.

With the introduction of the new bottle sizes, the Company is committed to maintaining Tequila Avión’s accessibility. The 50ml glass minis will be available individually for a limited time at an introductory recommended retail price of $3.99, and for a limited time, the “Tasting Flight” pack of all three signature expressions will have a recommended retail price of $9.99. The 375ml Avión Silver bottle will retail for approximately $22.99. The 1.75L Avión Silver will retail in the $80-90 dollar range.
