Tetra Pak has developed a flexible new packaging concept to help liquid dairy producers achieve cost-effective processing and better brand recognition.
The company has launched the Tetra Brik Square Mini 250 ml and 200 ml for chilled portion packages, which are becoming increasingly common on retail dairy shelves in Europe. The Tetra Brik Square Mini is Tetra Pak’s first mini square-shaped package to hit the market.
Available in 200 ml and 250 ml sizes, the new packages feature a distinctive cubic design that the firm believes will attract consumers and provide practical advantages over traditional gable top packages and plastic bottles and cups. Tetra Brik Square Mini is ideally suited for liquid dairy products. While liquid dairy product producers might benefit from the Tetra Brik Square Mini’s novel shape and size, makers of children’s drinks will benefit from the carton’s fun look, child-friendly dimensions and more spill-proof design. Interest in the new package has been particularly strong in Asian LDP producers seeking more convenient or attractive packaging. Another selling point of the Tetra Brik Square Mini is that it is easy to produce. The Tetra Pak C3/Flex can handle the production of these two portion packs as well as the Tetra Brik Square 1000 ml and 500 ml and Tetra Brik Base 1000 ml and 500 ml.
