The extrusion lamination is easy to form and available in a wide range of specifications, and prevents UV light penetration, which in turn prevents discoloration of red meat products.
A new line of PVC/PE thermoforming films is part of the co.'s three new developments for meat, seafood and cheese products. The extrusion lamination is easy to form and available in a wide range of specifications, and prevents UV light penetration, which in turn prevents discoloration of red meat products. High transparency and an excellent moisture barrier make the films useful for a range of packaging applications. PVC/PE also has excellent sealing characteristics, and can be specified for easy peel. It is also available with EVOH, to provide a highly transparent oxygen and moisture barrier.
