World-first from Elopak
Elopak unveiled its latest carton innovation in partnership with Swedish dairy Milko. In March 2005, Milko re-launched its famous healthy low-fat, low sugar fruit yoghurts in the new Standard Diamond Pure-Pak Curve carton, and in doing so is the first company in the world to trial the latest in carton packaging design and technology from Elopak. The new package combines the technical and ergonomic design features of the award winning Mini Diamond and Pure-Pak Curve carton, to create a totally original shaped carton.

In March 2005, Milko re-launched its famous healthy low-fat, low sugar fruit yoghurts in the new Standard Diamond Pure-Pak Curve carton, and in doing so is the first company in the world to trial the latest in carton packaging design and technology from Elopak. The new package combines the technical and ergonomic design features of the award winning Mini Diamond and Pure-Pak Curve carton, to create a totally original shaped carton. Consumer tests have demonstrated that the Diamond Pure-Pak Curve carton retains the traditional and familiar premium image of the Pure-Pak carton, with the added emotional value of the unique curve feature, and the functional benefits of the screw cap with better grip and bigger pouring opening. The Diamond shape gives the classic Pure-Pak carton a wider top panel and thereby space for the new Elo-Cap XE screw cap. The pouring spout diameter of the cap is increased by 38% to give improved pouring properties, which is especially beneficial for high viscose products. The large Elo-Cap XE screw cap is applied inside the filling machine by a screw cap applicator, ensuring the highest hygienic standards. This new carton concept was selected by Milko to give the dairy a new edge and stronger premium profile for its high quality and healthy yoghurt products.
