12 Sep 2023 --- Dr. Anja Brandon, associate director, US Plastics Policy at Ocean Conservancy, says the surge of single-use plastics, primarily from the packaging industry, significantly contributes to ocean waste. She suggests the industry design packaging to be either compostable, recyclable or reusable, with nothing being thrown away.
