Woolcool boxes, which can also be used for frozen foods, are made from recycled, recyclable, degradable and compostable corrugated cardboard.
Designer Angela Morris said: "The National Trust approached me in response to a demand from their tenant farmers for packaging to direct sell fresh meat using environmentally friendly materials.
"Wool fibres have overlapping scales and absorb airborne water molecules to be incredibly effective insulation and further research and testing demonstrated this presented the perfect natural solution."
Woolcool boxes are available in five sizes and in three styles. They can be printed in one, two or four colours.
River Cottage, Daylesford Organics and Riverford Meat Box are among recent customers.
