Bakery Tubs a Design Breakthrough
The packaging is high clarity ensuring an uninterrupted view of the products inside.
10 Sep 2009 --- The new range of bakery ‘tubs’ or ‘chests’ created especially for the bakery and confectionery sector by leading thermoformed packaging experts Sharp Interpack has been purposely designed to flaunt the pastries, cookies and cakes to their best advantage. As well as facilitating a tiered counter display they are available in 4 different depths.
The range has been produced in material that is kind to the environment made from 60% recycled APET (post consumer recyclate). The packaging is high clarity ensuring an uninterrupted view of the products inside. Fluted walls provide a robust design guaranteed to withstand challenging packing environments and transportation conditions.
The multi-purpose ‘tubs’ accommodating a variable range of pastries and cakes have a recessed finger ‘grip’ on the hinged lid and a sunken recess on the base of each ‘tub’. This clever ‘positive location’ enables the packaging to be stacked for optimal display and shelf space utilisation.
And with the recessed lid ‘grip’ allowance is made for unimpaired ‘watch banding’ and labelling.
Major bakeries and retailers are currently being supplied with these ‘tubs’ available in the following depths:
Shallow – product code: BW36329500
Medium – product code: BW36329501
Semi-Deep – product code: BW36329502
Super-Deep – product code: BW36329503
