UCB Films (Smyrna, GA) launched a range of biodegradable and compostable cellulose films called NatureFlex™. NatureFlex NP is an uncoated cellulose film developed for bag making, window patches, and twist wrapping nonmoisture-sensitive products.

A similar grade, NatureFlex NPU, was developed as a base film for the manufacture of adhesive tape products used in the home office.
