Adult soft drinks producer, Bottlegreen Drinks Co. is updating its iconic bottles. The new look has been created in a bid to achieve greater in-store stand out and to provide consumers with a more refined look.
The cordial range will feature a larger logo and a distinct variant band to improve variant differentiation and for greater impact.
The illustrations on the bottle will also have stronger colour definition and across the pressé range, bubbles will be featured on pack in a bid to improve taste cues.
Simon Speers, Managing Director of Bottlegreen Drinks Co. commented: “Our new look bottles, have retained the unique style and sophistication consumers love about bottlegreen whilst providing a sharper and more distinct feel to drive purchase and a stronger brand presence on shelf.
“With a less cluttered look we hope that we will create wider brand awareness and consumers will be attracted to the refreshed feel.”
The new look bottles come as Bottlegreen Drinks announces a 10.4% growth in total company year-on-year sales, moving the brand one step closer to its goal of building sales to £20 million by 2012.
Following another successful year, the company is continuing to invest in the brand to help cement its position as the number one adult soft drink manufacturer.
Despite a poor summer and the turbulent economic environment, the company has reported net sales of £13.3k, reflecting the growing consumer demand for premium quality soft drinks.
Sales of the brand’s cordial range have experienced an increase of 17.5%, with new flavours such as red cherry & vanilla and apple & thyme being introduced to provide consumers with greater choice and to suit individual tastes and preferences.
Within the premium soft drink sector, the sparkling pressé range has also showed growth of 38% year-on-year for its 750ml bottle and 16% growth for its 275ml variants.
Speers continued: “We have enjoyed a very strong year on year growth across the total bottlegreen brand in what is an extremely competitive and challenging market.”
“We are seeing growth in all parts of the business, with retail and export sales up and are confident that through NPD and product development we will continue to go from strength to strength and attract new buyers into the category – whilst retaining our loyal customer base.”
The re-launched bottles will roll out nationwide from July 2011.
