Bradman Lake Carton Erectors/Formers are thoroughly proven machines, ruggedly built with simple mechanical operation. Large numbers of them are in daily use around the world either erecting trays or as part of complete top load lines. Bradman Lake's long experience in the design of forming heads and tools means that a variety of different carton styles can be erected. Flat carton blanks are stacked in the hopper, which can be refilled while the machine is in operation. With each machine cycle a feed bar, fitted with vacuum cups, extracts a carton and places it, securely registered in pins, on the forming head. Simultaneously hot melt glue is applied to the four corners of the carton. A plunger descends, folds up the sidewalls of the carton and simultaneously compresses the corners to erect it.
