Branchline Brewing Company Announces Tap Room Grand Opening & Bottle Release

Your favorite local brewery tap room is growing! Branchline Brewing Co. was recently approved by the Tabc for a brewpub license. This change does not affect the company operationally, but allows consumers to purchase beer to go directly from the brewery.

Your favorite local brewery tap room is growing! Branchline Brewing Co. was recently approved by the Tabc for a brewpub license. This change does not affect the company operationally, but allows consumers to purchase beer to go directly from the brewery. Craft beer consumers can immediately purchase cans, bottles, growlers, and crawlers to go while still enjoying pints, pitchers, and flights in the tap room on Fridays (4-9PM) and Saturdays (2-8PM).

Branchline will celebrate a Grand Opening for the tap room on Saturday, August 20. Consumers can come to the brewery from 2-9PM and enjoy some beer, a tour, and buy some beer to take home. The celebration will have a few specialty cask-conditioned ales, a few new small batch releases, and year-round and fall seasonal favorites Additionally, Branch line is launching its first “brewpub exclusive” release that day. The beer, kept secret until the week before the launch, will be available to take home in 16.9 oz specialty bottles, crawlers, and growlers. It is a new beer for Branch line, and is an addition to the River City Series of sour, specialty, and barrel aged beers.

Lastly, Branchline is expanding tap room hours to support this change. Beginning with the August 20 Grand Opening & Bottle Release the tap room will be open from 2-9PM daily from Tuesday through Sunday each week. These hours make Branchline the most accessible production brewery in San Antonio. Local craft beer consumers can stop by during the week and catch a glimpse, or a sniff, of the brewing and packaging process, stop by for a few beers after work, or come party on the weekends.
