Compact vision system
The NI CVS-1455 compact vision system from National Instruments is said to deliver nearly twice the processing power and 4 times the storage capacity of the NI CVS-1454 system released in July. This makes it possible to greatly increase throughput in visual inspection applications.
The NI CVS-1455 compact vision system from National Instruments is said to deliver nearly twice the processing power and 4 times the storage capacity of the NI CVS-1454 system released in July. This makes it possible to greatly increase throughput in visual inspection applications. The system’s high-performance processor, nonvolatile storage, and three IEEE 1394 (Fire Wire) ports make it well equipped to handle a variety of inspection tasks, including high-speed packaging. Rather than coordinating information and images from several independent machine vision nodes, this system lets engineers integrate inspection into one system. Performs at 1,436 million instructions per second (MIPS). Engineers can choose from more than 50 IEEE 1394-compliant cameras. The system also includes 128 MB f nonvolatile onboard flash memory.
