In 2012, the brand entered the market stronger, thanks to their covenant with Belcorp beauty company in which DuPont™ Surlyn® accepted the challenge of creating the image of the fragrance packaging for Euphonie from L'Bel. With DuPont resin, which provides freedom of design and unprecedented functionality, Euphonie could transmit the femininity and elegance that characterize it.

The development of Euphonie introduced very interesting challenges to Pieriplast, the leading supplier of Surlyn® caps in the region, as they needed to capture seamlessly the femininity and sophistication, key concepts underlying the fragrance, and in turn use a material having the versatility to achieve it. The answer was to use Surlyn®, a material that meets the highest standards of aesthetics and resistance, consistent with the global trends of the major cosmetic houses in the world.” Also, Daniel Hidalgo, corporate package engineering manager for Belcorp, the largest manufacturer of cosmetics in the Andean Region, said: “We chose Surlyn® for its high transparency and high chemical resistance, further because we have suppliers with high expertise in processing the resin.”
Renato Pierinelli, Pieriplast CEO, said he has worked with Surlyn® for 12 years, and he always tries to select Surlyn® not only for perfume caps, but for many other cosmetic packaging applications because of its great adaptability and ease of this resin to copy shapes and textures of the very sophisticated designs of cosmetic products conceived. The Euphonie cap should achieve harmony of the high transparency of the product, the refraction of the diamond facets and the crimped metal plate carried at the top. Surlyn® can be injected or extruded in a single or multiple layers with a long lasting crystal transparency.
