Florette brings a stylish new range and raft of celebrated chefs to consolidate a gourmet image for the UK’s leading brand of prepared salads and vegetables at IFE 2003. One of many high profile culinary names appearing on the Florette stand at the London based show is Michelin Starred chef Raymond Blanc, already associated with successful Florette salads, he will be creating gourmet salads on stand using Florette products.

One of many high profile culinary names appearing on the Florette stand at the London based show is Michelin Starred chef Raymond Blanc, already associated with successful Florette salads, he will be creating gourmet salads on stand using Florette products. Florette’s state-of –the-art exhibition stand in Hall N, Number C1400, will also feature a resident chef throughout the four day exhibition.
Says Florette’s Commercial Director Mark Newton: “We are developing our gourmet image, linking with more top chefs, following on from our relationship with Raymond Blanc, which has been a great success. Excellence is standard for us at Florette, and we believe the collection we are bringing to the IFE will as ever exceed our customer’s expectations.” Among products for every meal occasion to be launched at IFE are new look packaging and recipe mixes for Florette’s popular Snack Bowl Range. The contemporary and innovative design of Caesar, Italian and Sweet and Crunchy Snacks will be featured at the show. Complete with a free fork, the Snack Bowl’s are more eye catching than ever, with each recipe featuring a different coloured section on the Snack Bowl. Florette’s Caesar Salad Snack Bowl combines Green Romaine and Iceberg with an accompaniment of Caesar dressing infused with Parmesan and original croutons.
A green ribbon on the left hand side of the bowl distinguishes the packaging for the Caesar bowl. Florette’s new recipe for the Italian Salad Bowl contains a mixture of Escarole, Herb dressing, black Olives, shredded Beetroot, sliced Red Pepper, tomato croutons and baby leaf Wild Roquette. The Italian Snack Bowl is identified by the orange on pack ribbon. The new look Sweet and Crunchy Snack Bowl from Florette contains Escarole, red Cabbage, shredded Carrot, Sweet Corn, Cherry Tomatoes and a 95% fat free French dressing. The Sweet and Crunchy bowl is denoted by the red on pack ribbon.
The Snack Bowls, which retail at £1.49, will be available in major Supermarkets, Convenience stores and Forecourts nationwide from April 2003. The Snack Bowls demonstrated an excellent performance in research conducted recently, in which consumers voted the Snack Bowls as being convenient, easy to use, easy to handle, fresh and healthy with an excellent, complementary combination of ingredients.
