Each individual product was given its own unique, photo-quality artwork that was subject to very specific requirements regarding the positioning of the bottom and wrap-around labels. Labels with a light barrier are guaranteed to reduce UV light transmission to less than one percent while maintaining over 99 percent opacity. Thanks to the IML labels from Printing Company Verstraete, these products retain their quality and taste for a longer period of time.
The Spanish company Frutas Montosa is switching to oxygen barrier IML packaging for its guacamole containers. This allows the manufacturer to offer the consumer an all-natural product with a long-lasting shelf life. Printing Company Verstraete produces these IML labels for packaging manufacturer ITC. For Frutas Montosa, IML with oxygen barrier maximises the company’s options for label decoration, while the label’s oxygen transmission rate is roughly one hundred times less than that of traditional packaging.
Frutas Montosa can hereby count on a solution that combines maximum productivity with minimal production costs.
