Gerber gets packaging makeover with less-mess design

Today’s parents are on the go and looking for easy solutions when it comes to feeding their family. Embracing the convenience trend is Gerber by undergoing a redesign with easy-to-use, no mess packaging for its cereal.
The plastic package opens and closes easily and consumers can pour or scoop eliminating mess. Also it’s made without BPA and touts the NutriLock Quality and Freshness Guarantee.
To coincide with the new packaging makeover, the company also rolls out Gerber Lil' Bits Cereals, a line of cereal that is developmentally and nutritionally fitting for older babies and toddlers. Gerber Lil' Bits Cereals has more flavor, is preferred by older babies (compared to Gerber Oatmeal Banana Cereal) and is designed to have a spoon-hugging texture. They also offer twice as much more iron per serving (15g) than the leading toasted oat cereal, so parents can be sure what they're feeding their kids is in line with healthy growth and development. Gerber Lil' Bits Cereal provides 45 percent DV iron for infants less than 12 months compared to 30 percent DV iron in 15g of the leading toasted oat cereal.
