Grupo LALA Launches Revitalized Fruit Beverage Brand
Working with the Mexico City office of Landor Associates – the world’s leading brand strategy and design firm – LALA redesigned its fruit beverage packaging to position the brand as younger and more dynamic. The new design for its orange flavor for example, is distinguished by its bright orange color, which is a major departure from the primarily white color of the original packaging.
Working with the Mexico City office of Landor Associates – the world’s leading brand strategy and design firm – LALA redesigned its fruit beverage packaging to position the brand as younger and more dynamic. The new design for its orange flavor for example, is distinguished by its bright orange color, which is a major departure from the primarily white color of the original packaging. The new color serves as a clear flavor cue and helps to distinguish it from LALA’s milk products. Illustration was selected in lieu of photography for the package design in order to differentiate the product – which is an orange drink – from the orange juices it competes against within the fruit beverages category. Additionally, Landor optimized the clients budget through the use of billboarding – the interconnecting of images from one pack to the next to create a single image from many elements. Through this billboarding technique LALA has obtained, in effect, another media buy and has dramatically improved its shelf presence.
