The other customer has ordered two lines to make RTDs (ready to drink) products filled into PET bottles, one of which is dedicated to manufacturing chocolate drinks and the other iced tea products. Each line has a production speed of 6,000bph, and the total output for these lines will be in excess of 50 million bottles per year.
The Dairy beverage manufacturers chose Xenos due to its reduced footprint, simplicity and flexibility to fill a range of different bottle sizes.
Xenos Aseptic fillers use a combination of hydrogen peroxide vapour (HPV) and Ultra Violet (UV) light to ensure a reliable and efficient sterilisation of the bottles and closures. This process, developed by Xenos in conjunction with Massey University of New Zealand, also increases the sterility performance of the machinery, and was renowned Internationally for its research in Dairy & Food processing and manufacturing.
Xenos aseptic fillers are in commercial operation in Brazil, Australia and New Zealand and can be used to fill a range of lifestyle and nutritional beverages including flavoured milks, teas, fruit and vegetable juices, coconut water, flavoured waters etc.
