Product change made easy
The saving of time with a product change plays an important role in order to guarantee a smooth production process. On the basis of a 2-lane GRUNWALD-ROTARY 6.000 combined with the mobile dosing system GRUNWALD-MOBIFILL they demonstrate at their stand how to carry out the product change in a comfortable and fast way.
Two mobile dosing systems complete the cup filler. In case of a product change the dosing system in use is disconnected from the rotary-type cup filling machine and is moved to a cleaning position. The second dosing system, which has been hygienically cleaned and is ready for use, is then connected to the rotary-type cup filling machine. It takes just 2 – 3 minutes for the production process to continue with the next product type.
The mechanical engineering company from Wangen concentrates and highlights the highly flexible functionality as well as the extremely short product changeover times promoted by the mobile dosing system MOBIFILL. It is suitable for all kinds of pumpable products and dosing ranges of 20 ccm – 1,900 ccm can be accommodated.

Due to the large number of demands and the great success the mechanical engineering company from the Allgäu shows a newly developed type of packaging at Fachpack exhibition for the first time. This packaging solution was developed in close co-operation with the Danish packaging supplier Superfos A/S: The 2-lane rotary-type machine HITTPAC AKH-019SE for the SuperLock® cup with denestable screw lid.

Due to the large number of demands and the great success the mechanical engineering company from the Allgäu shows a newly developed type of packaging at Fachpack exhibition for the first time. This packaging solution was developed in close co-operation with the Danish packaging supplier Superfos A/S: The 2-lane rotary-type machine HITTPAC AKH-019SE for the SuperLock® cup with denestable screw lid.
This compact cup filling machine was especially developed further in order to handle the SuperLock® packaging and the functions “cup denesting, filling, heat sealing as well as screw lid placing and cap tightening” are carried out within one machine cycle. This rotary-type machine was designed for filling pumpable products such as jam, dips, sauces, cheese, pâté but it can also be designed for filling non-pumpable products such as sweets, nuts etc.
The HITTPAC models are versatile in use and their special feature is the compact and robust construction. The low space requirements are another benefit – and at the same time this machine offers a high format flexibility and is good value for money.
The SuperLock®-packaging solution is based on stackable and sealable plastic cups with stackable screw cap which is easily reclosable so that the consumer is encouraged to reuse it.
The most important features of the SuperLock® packaging are the design and the possibility of a longer shelf life with certain products. Owing to an oxygen barrier with an extremely low oxygen transfer rate and the seal lid a product shelf life of up to 24 months can be achieved with the relevant products. The high-quality printing process with bright colours results in an attractive and striking design which upgrades the packaging. If requested, this packaging may also be designed with a stylish “window” – a transparent area on the cup where the consumer can see and evaluate the product inside.
