New grades of Appeel® lidding sealant offer protection for multilayer film lids, especially for rigid packaging. They seal well to APET, the co. reports, exhibit good peel behavior and are easy to process. The sealants can seal over a range of temperatures, and variations in temperature are said to have little effect on seal quality. All sealants are compliant with food packaging regulations, but limitations may exist in specific conuntries. the co. can provide guidance as required.
