MOËT & CHANDON Has Chosen Sincoplas
The challenge has been to achieve a moulding with a perfect surface, free of graining or heat flow lines, as the lacquering ruthlessly highlights such defects.
23/12/06 A new prestigious brand will henceforth enrich SINCOPLAS's list of references.
We speak of the LVMH Group's subsidiary MOËT & CHANDON, which has entrusted SINCOPLAS with the execution of its new promotional tool: a tulip shaped pompon carrier designed to receive a tall glass, also called a pompon.
MOËT & CHANDON has designed many "Flower" gift boxes composed of one 75 cl bottle of champagne, four tulip flutes and their holders, the whole presenting a pleasant appearance that is very elegant and festive in the form of a bouquet.
The tulip has been moulded in ABS in SINCOPLAS's Folembray plant near Soissons.
Subsequently it receives two coats of lacquering: the first being aluminium coloured to give it an iridescent look, the second fuchsia-pink coloured and that gradually decreases towards the foot of the tulip, thus progressively revealing the aluminium colour. It is foreseen that several hundreds of thousands of this luxury object be supplied in 2006.
The challenge has been to achieve a moulding with a perfect surface, free of graining or heat flow lines, as the lacquering ruthlessly highlights such defects. Four internal fins hold the glass flute in place inside its tulip.
An acknowledged actor in the cosmetics industry (Chanel, Guerlain, L’Oréal, Thierry Mugler…), SINCOPLAS, thanks to this creation, successfully enters into the universe of wines and spirits.
