Vegetables and Fruit in Tetra Recart in Chile

In total there are five products varieties, peaches in pieces, fruit salad, sweet corn, green peas and vegetable salad that are currently being launched into the Chilean market.

23/12/06 On November 23, Tetra Recart, the 21st century alternative for food, was officially presented to the press in Chile. The press conference, organized by Tetra Pak Chile together with Chilean customer Wasil, was held at Hotel Ritz Carlton Santiago.

The press conference started with an introduction by Robin G. Elfving, Tetra Pak Chile’s MD, who presented the new technology and the advantages Tetra Recart presents to the whole value chain. After this, Mr. Guillermo Santa Cruz, General Manager of Wasil, presented and explained why they have chosen to introduce fruit and vegetables in Tetra Recart. In total there are five products varieties, peaches in pieces, fruit salad, sweet corn, green peas and vegetable salad that are currently being launched into the Chilean market.

Wasil is not only the first customer to launch Tetra Recart in South America but also the first to launch fruit in Tetra Recart.
