- This is a planned step in the fusion process, we expected to change the decor now, for practical reasons. I would like to underline that the content is no different from before, our products are developed the same way as before we changed the look of the packaging and milk from Swedish farms in central and northern Sweden, said Hans-Åke Hammarström responsible for Milko integration of Arla.
The change is effective about 70 percent of the packages. Cheese and some yogurt places continue to have the old "Milko clothes" to week 19. Yogurt brands Tiger and Barry should Arla decided by the Competition Authority to sell and they will therefore continue with Milko spot until a new owner takes over. Arla has already sold the Mountain Yogurt, Fjällfil and Bollnäsfil.
- There are many former Milko farmers who feel it is good that the merger is now clear that there are also visible on the packaging. Now we are members and owners of Arla and then it is natural that our milk is packaged and marketed like other products, Arla, says dairy farmer Karl-Ake Karlsson, who is chairman of Arla's northern region.
