New Food Concept Benefits from RPC Bebo UK Corby Distinction
The idea behind Meal in 5! Is to provide consumers with a high-quality, low-cost pasta meal that can be prepared quickly and conveniently by adding boiling water.
08/09/06 RPC Bebo UK Corby’s expertise in both decoration and unusual pack shapes has provided Brand Partnership with a striking packaging format for its new Ainsley Harriott Meal in 5! concept.
The idea behind Meal in 5! Is to provide consumers with a high-quality, low-cost pasta meal that can be prepared quickly and conveniently by adding boiling water. Produced with the approval of leading UK chef Ainsley Harriott, the meals (comprising Creamy Vegetable, Spicy Tomato and Macaroni Cheese flavours) contain no artificial colours or flavours and less than 3% fat.
Brand Partnership required a portable pot format that would allow consumers to eat on the go or at work, but which would be large enough to hold a meal-size quantity. RPC Bebo Corby devised a pot design that features a distinctive rim with handles that enable consumers to grip the container without burning their hands.
The large decoration area is dry offset printed with product information and a high-quality photograph of Ainsley Harriott. To achieve the necessary resolution, RPC Bebo Corby used its new advanced plate technology, which can engrave smaller dots than conventional plates for excellent photo reproduction.
“Ainsley Harriott Meal in 5! is a distinctive entry into the ‘on the go’ meal sector, and the pot from RPC Bebo Corby provides significant style and convenience to enhance the healthy eating experience,” comments Rosie Guenzel of Brand Partnership.
The range has been launched in leading British supermarkets to great acclaim.
