New generation of LLDPE resins
They offer film producers a combination of improved strength and heat-seal properties, and an alternative to conventional hexene and metallocene-catalyzed polyethylenes (mPE) applications.
They offer film producers a combination of improved strength and heat-seal properties, and an alternative to conventional hexene and metallocene-catalyzed polyethylenes (mPE) applications. Members of the Dynex™ family of LLDPE polymers, the new resins offer a higher density range than previous Dynex products, resulting in a mix of impact resistance, tear strength and heat-sealing properties. The new polymers also provide consistent coefficient of friction and blocking control, the co. reports. Applications include heavy-wall bags and heavy-duty shipping sacks, among others.
