New Histor Packaging a Clear Success
SigmaKalon has introduced revised packaging for its Histor paint range in the Netherlands to build on the success of the brand in transparent polypropylene containers from RPC Containers Oakham. The clear packs were originally launched in 2001 and marked the first use of this style of container for a paint brand in continental Europe, recognising the fact that colour is the primary purchasing decision for consumers.
The appropriateness of this move is now reflected in new label designs for the containers with reduced printing and a wider panel through which the colour of the paint can be seen. The containers for Histor are being supplied in three sizes - 1, 2½ and 5 litres.
