New Range of Trays Specially Designed for Overwrap Applications
These new trays have been specifically developed to work efficiently with overwrap applications, which remain popular with many customers in the protein sector.
12/07/2010 --- LINPAC Packaging has designed a new range of Rfresh PET overwrap trays to run efficiently and at high speeds on ovewrapping machines.
The overall tray weight had been reduced but the design incorporates engineered corners and ribs to maintain the strength of the tray. The tray flange has been curved to reduce the chance of damaging the overwrapping film when running at high speeds.
Manufactured with post-consumer recyclate the trays offer all the normal features associated with virgin material including strength and clarity and are totally recyclable as they do not have the PE sealing layer normally associated with trays used for lidding applications.
The current range includes the four most popular sizes in the protein industry, but additional sizes are planned for later in the year.

The new range of overwrap trays is suitable for a wide variety of meat, fish and poultry products and is available in a range of sizes to suit different cuts of meat or fish.
