New Rum For Brugal Launched In A Bottle By Allied
The internationally renowned Brugal distillery has recently introduced a new premium rum Brugal Leyenda - ‘Legend’ - in a stunning bespoke bottle manufactured and intricately decorated by Allied Glass. To be sold in the Dominican Republic, Brugal Leyenda was created in tribute to Brugal’s founder Don Andrés Brugal Montaner, so it was essential that every element of the pack was developed to echo the premium nature and care that has gone into crafting this premium rum.

To be sold in the Dominican Republic, Brugal Leyenda was created in tribute to Brugal’s founder Don Andrés Brugal Montaner, so it was essential that every element of the pack was developed to echo the premium nature and care that has gone into crafting this premium rum. Therefore, the unique white flint bottle was designed with a broad yet elegant profile and bold embossing on the front panel to perfectly reflect the spirits’ unique heritage, whilst creating great on-shelf presence.
Brugal Leyenda is a super-premium double-aged rum that is first aged in American white oak barrels, with the use of bourbon, and then in Spanish red oak barrels to produce this unique-quality rum. In appearance Brugal Leyenda looks clean and pure with a crystalline mahogany hue. On the nose it is smooth and aromatic with light woody notes, traces of caramel, honey and dried fruits. On the palate it is smooth, fruity, dry and slightly woody giving a pleasant, complex and well balanced finish. Brugal Leyenda is created by maturing the rum gently in oak barrels which produces notes of chocolate and oak, intermingled with a smooth sweetness reminiscent of toffee. This powerfully, smooth aged rum is perfect when enjoyed straight.
